Use of debit cards for vehicle rental:

In all Hertz offices, VISA, MasterCard and Discover debit cards, in which the movements are made immediately in the holder's bank account, may be used to fulfill the requirements at the beginning of the rental, taking into account the following terms: Available only for vehicle group reservations between the Compact and Large categories. - At airport offices: It will be necessary to present a return plane ticket that coincides with the rental and present two forms of identification. - At Hertz Local Edition corporate offices (offices located in the city center): You will need to make a reservation at least 24 hours before picking up the vehicle, be over 25 years of age, have a corporate discount code (CDP) on the reservation or a flight or boat ticket that coincides with the dates of the rental and present two forms of identification; and present two forms of identification. You must also meet all the conditions and requirements of age, driving and payment. Although please note that there are exceptions to the general rules mentioned above: - You can use your debit card, for all vehicle groups, if it is included in your Hertz Gold Plus Rewards profile or if your rental is for a replacement vehicle from an insurer. - Debit cards will not be accepted to meet rental requirements for Premium vehicles and above, including Tesla, Dream Cars and Adrenaline Cars. - Debit cards not accepted for prepaid rentals (payment in advance).

25 to 99 Years

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to rent a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that, if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.
